What you will see
- Container facts. Real format detected from the bytes, dimensions, file size, orientation, animation and transparency.
- Verdict and evidence. Whether the file declares AI use, which generator left traces, and which platforms care.
- Removable and kept metadata. Chips showing exactly what a lossless clean would delete and what would stay.
- Every readable field. EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC, PNG text, ICC description and C2PA claims, with values shown as stored.

Limits of the viewer
Values are shown as stored, truncated to 500 characters, up to 160 fields per file. Maker notes, encrypted C2PA assertions and vendor-specific blobs are listed by name only. If a block cannot be parsed you will see a warning rather than a silent gap. Signatures are not validated.
Questions people ask
Is the viewer really offline?
Yes. After the page loads, the file is read by a Web Worker in your browser. No request carries image data. You can switch off your connection and the viewer keeps working.
Why are some values missing?
Some vendors store data in proprietary maker notes or in formats this viewer does not decode yet. Those blocks are listed by name so you know they exist.
Can I view metadata in HEIC or RAW files?
Not yet. JPEG, PNG and WebP are supported. Export other formats to JPEG first.
Does viewing change the file?
No. Viewing is read-only. A cleaned or converted copy is only created when you press Strip metadata or Re-encode, and your original is never modified.
